Recent research findings from the Scottish Government rural and environment research programme will be highlighted at an event at Victoria Quay, Edinburgh this week (Wednesday 9th February 2011)

‘Scotland’s people, environment and rural economy: connecting research and policy’ will focus on research programmes of relevance to food security and sustainable food production, climate change and living within environmental limits, as well as look forward to the new programme of research which will be launched at the event.

Hosted by Roseanna Cunningham MSP, Minister for Environment and Climate Change, and organised by knowledgescotland, the event has been designed to attract those with strategic policy interests in health and wellbeing, agriculture, environment and rural affairs.

The event takes place at Victoria Quay, Edinburgh on Wednesday 9th February 2011.
