Local residents and businesses with an interest in the coast are invited to the East Grampian Coastal Partnership’s Annual Seminar. The meeting is free to attend and will be held on 24th November at the Macaulay Land Use Research Institute in Aberdeen.
Among those speaking at the event which will cover the Marine (Scotland) Bill, the management of the coast and the potential for green tourism in the North East are Rhona Fairgrieve of the Scottish Coastal Forum, Mike Chandler, Chair of Peterhead Projects Ltd, and Ken Massie, Regional Director of VisitScotland.
Ian Hay, Project Manager of the EGCP said, “The event is aimed at anyone with an interest in the coast, in particular economic development, sustainability, wildlife and from businesses that could benefit from a greater emphasis on Wildlife Tourism.”
