Three scientists from the Macaulay Land Use Research Institute in Aberdeen have scooped a national journal award for their research into the effect of movement on people’s appreciation of landscapes.
The Macaulay Land Use Research Institute is offering a bursary to allow two Aberdeen students to attend the British Science Festival. This year the Festival is hosted by the University of Surrey in Guildford from 5th-10th September.
At Glensaugh we are at the peak of the crossbred lambing, with ewes lambing at about one per hour. This will soon tail off as the lambing will not end until late April.

Seven new members have been appointed to the Macaulay Land Use Research Institute’s Board of Governors. The new Board Members are Professor Alan Werrity, Julia Edgar, Dr George Paterson, Eric Baird, Shireen Chambers, Bob Kay CBE and Professor Nigel Curry. They join Michael Gibson, Dr Laura Meagher, Prof Brian Clark, Helen Dickinson and Franceska van Dijk.
